For 63 years now, there has been an annual "Artists & Writers" charity softball game that's held at Herrick Park, in East Hampton, NY. to help local charities. Lori is a huge supporter of this and suits up every year to participate. The below items are from that game. For more information about the game itself, you can find it here: Artists vs. Writers Charity Softball Game.

These photo's are from the 63rd annual Artist & Writers game. Under heavy heat, the writers scored a 17-11 victory over the artists. But I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that the Writers had former Yankees player Jim Leyritz on their team...

These photo's were taken at the 62nd annual Artist & Writers game that was held on August 14th, 2010. The Artists beat the Writers 15-14 in this game.

These photo's were taken at the 61st annual Artist & Writers game that was held on August 15th, 2009. The Writers beat the Artists 12-11 in this game.

These photo's were taken at the 60th annual Artist & Writers game that was held on August 16th, 2008. The Artists beat the Writers 4-2...but who's counting? ;-) I could have shrunk these photos down some, but they were just too good not to keep them at a larger size.

And of course an autographed program from this game. The autograph reads, "All The Best! Heavy Hitter (Heart) Lori Singer." Gotta love it!

This photo was taken at the 2007 Artist & Writers game. Of course the Artists beat the Writers 13-5 in this one.

Photos from August 19th, 2006. I've also been informed that Lori batted 500 during the game!! ...now, how do I get one of those nifty t-shirts??

These were taken on August 19th, 2000. Just look at those perfect legs!!

And here's the program from that game. Lori, of course, signed her picture.

And a couple more pictures with Lori in action in August of 1999.

Here's one that was published in the "East Hampton Star" August 19th, 1999 issue.

I don't have a date for the items below, but still wanted to include them.

Here's an autographed postcard from the game. This game was put on to help benefit "The Retreat", "East Hampton Day Care Center", and "East End Hospice."

A magazine scan, but I didn't get the date with it.

I recently purchased this autographed Baseball. I'm not sure when it was signed, but it's common place to get these signed at the game.

A couple more photos from the Artist & Writers game.

I know this one is not part of the Artist & Writers game, but to keep with the sports theme I thought this would be the best place for it. What I do know is that Lori scored a triple play during this game. Spike Lee hit the ball well over second base (Lori was playing second) so she leaped into the air, caught the ball, quickly stepped on second base (that runner was almost at third by now) and then threw the ball to Danny Aiello, who was playing first base, to catch that runner who was also off the bag. Cool, huh?
